 The
McAllen Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is Proud to announce the Second Annual
"Jalapeño Duramed FUTURES Golf Classic". This tournament will be considered a FUTURES
Tour event which will be held at Palm View Golf Course.
The Jalapeño
Duramed FUTURES Golf Classic will feature 144 Professional Women golfers from all over
the world coming to McAllen, Texas to become our Champion.
Parties
Tournament Week begins on Monday, April 23rd, with the Duramed FUTURES Tour players arriving. Tuesday is the day for the pros to practice on our course. Several
special events are also planned for Tuesday - a 4-hole shoot out,
a Celebrity/Pro skills challenge and the day is capped off by our Kick Off Reception.
Wednesday is the day for the Juniors with a special clinic just for them. The "Meet the Pros" party (invitation only)
provides an opportunity for participants in the Pro-Ams to meet their playing partners.
Pro-Ams
Play golf with the
friendly, talented women professionals that make up the Duramed FUTURES Tour in one of the
Pro-Am tournaments to be held on Thursday. Morning and afternoon competition rounds provide challenges and fun
with an awards ceremony
after completion of the afternoon rounds.
Tournament Play
It all gets serious Friday through Sunday when 144 players from around the world
tee it up in pursuit of a $75,000 purse in the three-day Jalapeno Golf Classic.
